1. Meeting and assessment
Session Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes –
2 hours

R660 per hour
This will be the first and most important session of our speech therapy journey, where we will formulate an agreement on the patient's treatment. It will be based on a mutual understanding of specific needs and what our responsibilities will entail for the way forward.
By thoroughly assessing your history and completing an assessment, we will understand what has led to the current communication, feeding, or swallowing difficulty.

2. Feedback and therapy plan
Session Duration: 30 minutes
Cost:
R290 per 30 minute session
This session will be an analysis of the first assessment’s results whereby we will determine your level of speech & language therapy needed and develop a unique therapy plan.
We will then implement this customised program into our speech therapy sessions as well as providing speech therapy exercises (such as speech articulation exercises, frontal lisp exercises and many more) to integrate it into your home environment.

3. Treatment
Session Duration: 30 – 45 minutes

R290 per 30 minute session
R460 per 45 minute session
Everyone is unique in their journey to recovery. Therefore, the duration of your journey towards accomplishing your goals cannot be predetermined.
Throughout your progress, we will systematically re-assess your skills and goals and adapt the duration of your therapy accordingly.

The duration and frequency of speech assessment and speech therapy sessions vary according to each patient's individual needs.
The times and pricing below are calculated on a yearly basis and can be influenced by factors like your medical aid plan and your method of payment.

Hearing Screenings
Session Duration: 30 minutes
Cost: R290 per 30 minute session
In this short assessment, we identify any potential hearing problem areas which will determine whether further assessment should be required, in which case you’ll be referred to an Audiologist.
Speech and Language Screenings
Session Duration: 30 minutes
Cost: R290 per 30 minute session
In this assessment, we identify potential speech and/or language problem areas. We can then determine whether you will require further assessment, in which case you will be referred to a Speech and Language Therapist for a full assessment.
